Hepatitis C
When I was young, I did dumb things as most young people do. I used drugs and dirty needles. I didn’t really know anything about Hepatitis C. I kept living life and using drugs until I was tired of that lifestyle.
More than twenty-eight years ago, I grew up and I sobered up. In a routine physical, the doctor found a spot on my liver.
When I started treatment for Hepatitis C, I had some pretty dark days. The side-effects of the treatment were milder than earlier treatments but still brutal. Thankfully, my wife and my doctors helped me get through treatment. I also exercised regularly and made a conscious effort to finish the treatment. In the end, it all paid off! I am now Hep C free.
