Acute Hepatic Porphyria (AHP) refers to a group of rare, genetic diseases. Symptoms mimic other diseases, including those in the gastrointestinal, gynecological, and neurological, or neuropsychiatric areas. Attacks can be debilitating and sometimes life-threatening.
