ALF 45th Anniversary Leadership Celebration

In February, the American Liver Foundation held a virtual salute to 45 years of leadership in the liver community. The celebration recognized ALF’s 2020 Distinguished Scientific Achievement Awardee, Dr. Gyongyi Szabo, and featured a patient-led discussion with past ALF awardees and 2020 Nobel Laureates, Drs. Harvey Alter, Michael Houghton, and Charles Rice, for their discovery of the Hepatitis C Virus and contributions to the eventual cure. In the first of six clips, new ALF CEO Lorraine Stiehl starts the celebration by welcoming everyone to the amazing event!
