Donor Alliance is a non-profit organization dedicated to saving lives through organ and tissue donation and transplantation. As the organ and tissue procurement agency for Colorado and most of Wyoming, Donor Alliance serves more than 5.8 million residents and more than 100 hospitals.
Donor Alliance adheres to the highest medical, regulatory and ethical standards, and meets every performance standard. By respectfully working with the families of organ and tissue donors, maintaining partnerships with hospitals, educating residents on the life-saving benefits of donation and inspiring them to sign up on the state’s donor registry, Donor Alliance is able to save lives through organ and tissue donation and transplantation. Colorado and Wyoming boast some of the highest rates of donor registration in the country, which directly translates to more lives saved and healed through organ and tissue transplantation. American Transplant Foundation
600 17th Street Suite 2515
South Denver, CO 80202
At the American Transplant Foundation, we believe no one should die while waiting for a lifesaving transplant. As a national 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, we strive to eliminate our country’s shortage of human transplant organs. Our supporters help the Foundation to raise awareness about organ donation, collaborate with other organ donation groups, and work toward better public policy. Twenty people will die today waiting for a life saving organ. Over 95% of Americans waiting for a lifesaving organ are in need of a kidney or liver – an organ that can be donated by a living person. To save lives, we strive to create opportunities for people to become living donors. If just 1 out of every 2,000 Americans became living donors, we could eradicate the kidney and liver transplant waiting list. That is why we are here. Our passion for helping patients through their transplant journeys drives our efforts to support living donors as they give the Gift of Life. We do this by eliminating financial concerns, eradicating educational gaps, and providing one-on-one transplant support.
Our mission is to save lives by reducing the growing list of women, men, and children who are waiting for a transplant. We do this by maximizing living organ donation, which is the most effective way to fulfill our mission. We provide a three-tiered approach with educational, emotional, and financial support for living donors, transplant patients, and their families across the country, with a specific focus on Colorado.
