ALF Applauds CDC Guidance for Hepatitis C Testing for Adults
In response to emerging trends, the American Liver Foundation began advocating for expanded testing guidelines for Hepatitis C in 2018. We were thrilled this year when the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) released new guidelines regarding who should be tested for Hepatitis C. New guidelines recommend universal screening for Hepatitis C. Universal testing means a one-time test for all adults 18 and older and all pregnant women every pregnancy.
